A Father & Son team from Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK. Always enjoyed a bit of a road trip; this is the big one. We are placing reliance on good old German engineering in the form of a W124 Mercedes to get us there. The Foreign Office is recommending no travel through Mauritania owing to terrorist problems, but we're feeling lucky (punk). We have had a few teething problems with the Twitter updating, but hopefully we can keep the web page in tune on our journey.
Update: yes we made it to Banjul, what a trip highs and lows all the way, would definitely do it again, just give us a short break.
